The community of Cambridge Bay is located on Victoria Island, which is situated in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. There are two communities Victoria Island, with Holman - Ulukhaktok - being on the Western side, but belonging to the Northwest Territories as the Territorial boundary splits the island. Cambridge Bay is the administrative centre of the Kitikmeot Region of the territory of Nunavut. It’s population hovers around 1500.
